Albert’s cabin in the woods was a wonderful little gem. It had everything and the views!! Albert’s communication was timely and informative. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the grill. The gravel road was a little steep but we all made it safely and had a great time!

We really enjoyed staying at the cabin, the views are great, the sunsets are amazing and our kids enjoyed the hot tub. It was a very peaceful place to spend our anniversary getaway so we could explore Shenandoah. The cabin feels like a newer construction. The place feels clean and tastefully done. Thank you, Albert and team!

We had such a peaceful stay at this Luray retreat. The home is beautifully curated and thoughtfully designed with a warm, inviting feel that made it easy to settle in. The views overlooking the lake are serene, especially in the morning and at sunset. The hot tub and sauna were standout amenities and made the experience feel like a true getaway. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and disconnect for a few days. One thing to note: the driveway is quite steep and rocky, so a 4x4 is recommended. Overall, a serene and well-appointed escape. We’d absolutely come back.

Forest Ridge Cabin was such a great and relaxing getaway!  The cabin was exactly as described and pictured, with cozy blankets in every bedroom and individual thermostats/heat/AC unites in each of the downstairs bedrooms as well.  The deck and hot tub was really nice, with a pergola (added since the listing pics were taken) over the hot tub along with nice lighting that allowed us to enjoy it even as it snowed!  We did need to click in the 4WD on the truck to get up the steep driveway, and we appreciated the mention of this in the listing and other reviews so we brought the right vehicle.  We’d definitely stay here again if ever in the area!

Como descrever uma semana que era para relaxar e reconectar consigo?! Foi simplesmente maravilhoso! Na primeira noite vimos alguns alces na estrada, no amanhecer vimos pelo dome umas raposas e muita vida animal ao redor. O Dome é maravilhoso, tive excelente semana nele. Roupa de cama confortável, melhor do que de Hotel, banheiro limpo e minimalista. A estrada para chegar é bem ruim, nos metros finais, então recomendo carros altos, isso vai facilita no percurso. A cidade é uma graça, comunidade acolhedora e muito simpática. Adoramos caminhar pro centro histórico e fomos na minas de pedra, que é super acessível e muito recomendado para visitar.

House was exactly what we were looking for. Didn't know we had very very close neighbors but it all worked out. Not a house for light sleepers as you can hear upstairs to downstairs but that is an old cabin for you. We enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful mountain ridge cabin near Shenandoah! The location was perfect for exploring the park—we spent our days hiking and checking out some great local breweries, then came back to relax in the hot tub and sit by the fire in the evenings. The cottage truly had everything we needed. It was thoughtfully stocked with spices, utensils, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner—little details that made the stay so comfortable and easy. It felt like a home away from home. Everything was absolutely spotless as well! The cleaners clearly do an incredible job keeping the place in perfect condition. Albert was an amazing host—friendly, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Shenandoah area!

My stay here was wonderful! It was so peaceful and it was the perfect little getaway for my boyfriend and I. Super friendly and responsive hosts which made me feel super comfortable. The dome itself was such a cool place to stay and it had everything we needed for our stay! Already want to plan my next stay :)

Lake Haus was exactly what we needed to get away from everything and relax for a few days. The place was beautiful and just what the pictures advertised. I brought extra things I thought I might need for cooking (can opener, baking dish, etc.) but the kitchen was already fully stocked with everything I needed to cook a nice meal. I would highly recommend staying here for a nice relaxing getaway to just disconnect and enjoy your time with family/friends.

We loved staying here! It was nice and quiet, the place is beautiful and updated. They provided all the basic necessities to be there for a few days! The gravel path before getting to the gravel driveway was super bumpy, small cars probably could get stuck in bad weather. The heating and A/C worked great. The sun can make it very hot inside (insulated extremely well!) We would definitely stay again.

This place was a fantastic stay! Such a cool experience, and the hosts make it even better. Very helpful and kind! The stars at night are absolutely breathtaking while sitting in the hot tub. We had a great weekend here!
